Stone Crabs Week in Review: June 9 to June 15

The Stone Crabs continue to finish the second half strong as they won five of their six games this week. The Stone Crabs are now 29-36 on the season which is good for fourth place in the division. While the Stone Crabs are officially eliminated from winning the first half, they look to carry the momentum into the second half and make a run for the postseason for the third consecutive season. The annual All-Star Game will be played on Saturday at Bright House Field in Clearwater. Tyler Bortnick, Alex Colome, Hak-Ju Lee, Brett Nommensen, Josh Satow and Greg Sexton will join the Stone Crabs coaching staff to represent the South Division in the game.

    florida state league and the southern league are top 5 for talent in all of the minors. i laugh at the stats coming out of the hitter friendly PCL (to say the least).
