  1. For the Hot Rods, Guevara left the game with the shoulder again. It's been bothering him for some time. He left the 6/1 game during his first AB after fouling off a pitch. Must not be too bad because he gets right back in the lineup, but if it's bad enough that he keeps having to leave games, something is wrong. Might see him put on the DL this time.

  5. @ Matt,

THe doubles and K rate (~17%) are nice, but has only 3 HR's and only 3(!) walks in 49 games. He's shown that he can hit, but outside of last year, not that he can hit for power, and he has never really showed the ability to draw walks. Putting up a sub-.300 OBP in AA does not bode well for major league production.

  8. Walks are free transportation, as good as a single. Walks can be big in a game.
