Thursday's Scores and Highlights

Indianapolis Indians, Durham Bulls (postponed)
Both clubs will place in a doubleheader on Friday. Virgil Vasquez will start game one and Richard De Los Santos is scheduled for game two.



Tennessee Smokies 11, Montgomery Biscuits 3
Rashad Eldridge was 3 for 5 with a double and an RBI. Emeel Salem was 2 for 5 with a double and a run scored. Matt Fields and Mike Folli each drove in a run. Heath Rollins surrendered 6 runs on 5 hits in an innings on the mound to take the loss. The Biscuits conclude the series with Tennessee on Friday, David Newmann will start the finale.

Lakeland Flying Tigers 3, Charlotte Stone Crabs 4
22nd comeback win of the season for the Stone Crabs. Michael Sheridan was 2 for 3 with a double, also drove home the game winning run in the ninth inning. Kyeong Kang was 2 for 2 with a double, run scored and a walk. Greg Sexton was 2 for 3. Stephen Vogt picked up an RBI. Andy Sonnanstine made a rehab start, pitched 1 1/3 innings, with all recorded outs coming via strikeout. Chris Andujar picked up the win. Richard De Los Santos will gat the start in Friday's game against Lakeland.

South Bend Silver Hawks 4, Bowling Green Hot Rods 6
Tyler Bortnick was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored. Ryan Wiegand was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's. Ty Morrison was 2 for 5 with a triple and 2 runs scored. Julio Cedeno drove home two runs and Brett Nommensen knocked in another. Kirby Yates picked up the win and Jake Sullivan the save. The Hot Rods will wrap up the series with South Bend on Friday,Aaron Dott will be on the mound.

Hudson Valley Renegades 2, Connecticut Tigers 3
Alejandro Torres was 2 for 4 with an RBI. The Renegades were just 1 for 10 with runners in scoring position. Adam Liberatore took the loss. The Renegades with Zach Rosscup on the mound will face Connecticut again on Friday.


Greeneville Astros, Princeton Rays (postponed)
The P-Rays and Greeneville will play two on Friday, Elizaer Suero and Braulio are scheduled to start.



GCL Red Sox 1, GCL Rays 2
Justin O'Conner was 2 for 2 with a double, 2 RBI's and a walk. Craige Lyerly was 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored. Joel Caminero was 2 for 4. Parker Markel made his pro debut, pitching a scoreless frame. Brandon Henderson improved to 3-0 with the win, pitching 2 1/3 and allowing no runs on 2 hit with 5 strikeouts. Henderson has yet to give up an earned run in 6 appearances spanning 12 2/3 innings. Daniel Johnson earned the save. The GCL Rays face off at home on Friday against the GCL Orioles.

DSL Mets 7, DSL Rays 2
Hector Rodriguez, Jiminson Natera and Luis Marte picked up doubles in the game. Natera had an RBI. Jesus Araiza was 0 for 4 with 4 strikeouts. Hector Gomez was the losing pitcher. The DSL Rays play host to the DSL Red Sox on Friday.

VSL Reds 4, VSL Rays 2
Jonathan Quinonez was 2 for 4. Franklin Paz had a triple and drove home the only 2 runs for the Rays. Orlando Cabrera took the loss.



VSL Reds 3, VSL Rays 1
Rays only managed three singles offensively. Leopoldo Correa plated the lone run. Defensively, the Rays committed three errors in the game. Felipe Rivero suffered the loss. The VSL Rays are off on Friday.
