Tuesday's Score and Highlights

Durham Bulls 4, Pawtucket Red Sox 5
Elliot Johnson was 2 for 4 with a double, home run, 2 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Angel Chavez was 2 for 3. Desmond Jennings and Chris Richard each drove home a run. Joe Bateman was the only pitcher not to surrender a run, pitching 2 no-hit innings. RJ Swindle as charged with the loss. The Bulls are off on Wednesday.

Tennessee Smokies 2, Montgomery Biscuits 3
Emeel Salem was 2 for 3 with a triple and 2 runs scored. Nevin Ashley was 2 for 3 with a run scored. Rashad Eldridge was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Drew Anderson plated the other run. Jake McGee threw 5 2/3 shut-out innings picking up the win. Dane De La Rosa got the save. The series against Tennessee continues on Wednesday, Alex Torres will get the ball for the Biscuits.

Dunedin Blue Jays 5, Charlotte Stone Crabs 0 (Game One)
Isaias Velasquez was 3 for 3. Greg Sexton and Anthony Scelfo had the only other hits for the Stone Crabs. The Stone Crabs only had 6 baserunners and only put 2 of them in scoring position. Matt Moore broke his streak of scoreless innings by giving up 2 runs in 4 innings and being charged with the loss. Michael Jarman surrendered the other three runs.

Dunedin Blue Jays 0, Charlotte Stone Crabs 5 (Game Two)
Matt Hall was 2 for 2 with a double and a run scored. Tim Beckham was 3 for 4 with a double, RBI and a run scored. Isaias Velasquez was 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored. Greg Sexton also had an RBI. Joe Cruz threw 5 shut-out innings with six strikeouts to get the win. Brian Shouse threw 2 shut-out innings of relief and has yet to give up an earned run in five appearances with the Stone Crabs. The Stone Crabs begin a four game series against Lakeland, Shane Dyer will start the opener.

South Bend Silver Hawks 9, Bowling Green Hot Rods 6
All six of the Hot Rods runs came in the fifth inning. Julio Cedeno was 3 for 4 with a double, RBI and a run scored. Gabe Cohen was 2 for 4 with a double, 2 RBI's and a run scored. Mark Thomas was 2 for 4 with a run scored. Kyle Spraker belted a three run homer. Wilking Rodriguez suffered the loss. Jason McEachern will make the start when the Hot Rods play South Bend again on Wednesday.

Brooklyn Cyclones 1, Hudson Valley Renegades 9
Diogenes Luis was 3 for 4 with a triple, 4 RBI's and a run scored. Robby Price was 2 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored. Chris Winder was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored. Philip Wunderlich was 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI. Steven Tinoco was 2 for 5. Mayobanex Acosta was the only Renegade without a hit. Jake Thompson threw 5 shut-out innings to improve to 2-0 with the win. The Renegades open up the series against Connecticut with a doubleheader on Wednesday.

Princeton Rays 3, Pulaski Mariners 5
Bryan Fogle was 2 for 4 with a home run. Cesar Guillen was 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored. Todd Glaesmann and Kyle Holloway knocked in a run each. The Victor Mateo took the loss. P-Rays enjoy a league wide day off on Wednesday.

GCL Twins 2, GCL Rays 6
Deshun Dixon was 2 for 3 with a double. Ryan McCrann was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Craige Lyerly had a home run, 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Joel Caminero plated the other run. Reinaldo Lopez improved to 3-0 with the win. Matt Bush pitched a no-hit inning, striking out 2 of 3. The GCL Rays travel to first place GCL Red Sox on Wednesday.

DSL Rays 11, DSL Astros 3 (8 innings)
Ariel Soriano was 3 for 4 with an RBI and 3 runs scored. Jose Ruiz was 2 for 4 with a double, home run, 3 RBI's and 2 runs scored. Hector Rodriquez was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's. Luis Natera was 2 for 5 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI's. All D-Rays reached base on the afternoon. Bruedlin Suero picked up the win. The DSL Rays are home against the DSL Indians on Wednesday.

VSL Mariners 10, VSL Rays 0
Nahum Hernandez and Ronald Acosta had the only multi-hit performance on the afternoon. The Rays managed to get 7 hits, but was only able to move 3 runners into scoring position. The pitching staff was rocked for 10 runs on 13 hits with 5 walks. Danmar Salazar suffered the loss. The VSL Rays travel to the VSL Tigers on Wednesday.
