Saturday's Scores and Highlights

Durham Bulls 1, Norfolk Tides 0
The only run of the game came in the seventh inning off an RBI double by Justin Ruggiano. Elliot Johnson had the other extra base hit for the Bulls with a double. Desmond Jennings and JJ Furmaniak recorded the only other hits. Brian Baker pitched 7 shut-out innings with only 1 hit to earn the win. Winston Abreu picked up the save. The series with Norfolk continues on Sunday with Bobby Livingston getting the start.

Chattanooga Lookout 6, Montgomery Biscuits 1
Biscuits have lost five in a row. Only had four hits, Craig Albernaz had the only one for extra bases. Emeel Salem drove home the lone run. Rayner Oliveros was tagged for 6 runs on 4 hits with 5 walks in 3 innings for the loss. The Biscuits try to avoid the sweep in Sunday's finale against Chattanooga with Paul Phillips getting the start.

Charlotte Stone Crabs 3, Palm Beach Cardinal 6
Tim Beckham was 3 for 4 with a double. Anthony Scelfo and Isaias Velasquez each had a double. Jake Jefferies and Kyeong Kang drove home the other two runs. Chris Andujar suffered the loss. The series moves to Charlotte Sports Park on Sunday with Frank De Los Santos getting the start.

Bowling Green Hot Rods 7, South Bend South Hawks 9
Tyler Bortnick was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 RBI's. Bennett Davis was 2 for 4 with a double. Ty Morrison drove home three runs. Matt Stabelfeld pitched 2 1/3 no hit innings of relief. Jake Sullivan took the loss. The series continues on Sunday with Alexander Colome making the start.

Hudson Valley Renegades 7, Lowell Spinners 3
Phil Wunderlich was 3 for 5 with an RBI. Nick Schwaner was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI's. Robby Price was 2 for 5. Steve Tinoco was 2 for 4. Mayo Acosta was 2 for 5 with a double and an RBI. Diogenes Luis was 2 for 5 with an RBI. Jake Thompson pitched 5 innings, allowing a run on 3 hits with 6 strikeouts. Adam Liberatore picked up the win and Austin Hubbard the save. James Patterson gets the start in Sunday's game against Lowell.

Johnson City Cardinals 7, Princeton Rays 1
The P-Rays were swept by the Johnson City in the three game series. The P-Rays managed just 4 hits in the game, but 3 of them were doubles. Scott Lawson drove home the lone run. Andrew Bellatti suffered the loss, surrendering 5 runs in 3 1/3 innings. The P-Rays travel to Greenville on Sunday with Victor Mateo making the start.

GCL Rays 2, GCL Orioles 5 (10 innings)
Tanner Biagini and Cesar Perez drove home the runs for the Rays. Justin O'Conner had the only extra base hit with a double. The Rays were just 2 for 11 with runners in scoring position. Peter Woodworth suffered the loss. The GCL Rays are off on Sunday.

DSL Yankees 3, DSL Rays 1
The DSL Rays have been eliminated from the playoffs. Waldo Rosario was 2 for 4 with a double. Jose Lafontaines drove home the only Rays run. Joan Guerrero suffered the loss. This game concluded the 2010 season, the Rays finished with a 42-30 record and in second place of the division.
