Rays Players Heading to the Arizona Fall League

Stacy Long is reporting that Henry Wrigley Jeremy Hall, Jose Ruiz, Sergio Espinosa and Leslie Anderson will play in the Arizona Fall League following the season.

Wrigley has split the 2010 season between the Stone Crabs and Biscuits. He has hit .270/.462/.314 with 23 doubles, 4 triples, 19 home runs and 73 RBI's combined at both levels. He was an all-star this season as a member of the Stone Crabs. Wrigley was drafted by the Rays in round 14 of the 2005 Draft.

Hall has spent the entire season with the Biscuits. He is 5-8 with a 3.60 ERA and 87 strikeouts in 24 starts this season. Hall joined the organization as an undrafted free agent in 2007.

Ruiz split time this season between the DSL Rays and the Biscuits. He is .329/.488/.417 with 8 doubles, 1 triple, 1 home run and 13 RBI's in 22 games this season. Ruiz was signed into the organization this season from Cuba.

Espinosa is one of several Cuban defectors in the organization. He has split the season between the Stone Crabs and Biscuits. He is 3-3 with a 4.50 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 28 games out of the bullpen. Espinosa joined the organization in April of this year.

Anderson is the third of the Cuban defectors to make the trip to Arizona in a Rays uniform. He has spent the season split between the Stone Crabs, Biscuits and now the Bulls. He is hitting .299/.442/.360 with 16 doubles, 1 triple, 10 home runs and 44 RBI's in 86 games between the three levels. Anderson was the first of several Cuban players to be signed by the organization this season.
