Friday's Scores and Highlights

Durham Bulls 3, Norfolk Tides 1
Bulls clinch fourth straight division title. Rocco Baldelli was 2 for 4 with a double, home run and RBI's. Chris Richard was 2 for 4 with a double. Jake McGee picked up the win and Joe Bateman the save. The Bulls play Norfolk again on Saturday with Brian Baker getting the start.

Chattanooga Lookouts 6, Montgomery Biscuits 5
John Matulia was 3 for 5 with a home run. Rashad Eldridge was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Drew Anderson was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored. Craig Albernaz drove home two run. Sergio Espinosa gave up 4 runs on 5 hits to take the loss. Rayner Oliveros will start on Saturday when the Biscuits play Chattanooga.

Charlotte Stone Crabs 1, Fort Myers Miracle 2
Chris Murrill was 2 for 4 with a run scored. Michael Sheridan was 2 for 4 with a double. Stephen Vogt drove home the lone run. Deivis Mavarez suffered the loss. The Stone Crabs travel to Palm Beach to being a three game series.

Bowling Green Hot Rods 3, Lake County Captains 5
Julio Cedeno was 2 for 4 with a double. Mark Thomas was 2 for 5 with a double. Tomas Francisco was 2 for 3. Tyler Bortnick, Ryan Wiegand and Robbi Estrada drove home the runs for the Hot Rods. Scott Shuman suffered the loss. The Hot Rods travel to South Bend with Jason McEachern starting the opener.

Hudson Valley Renegades 2, Lowell Spinners 5
Mayo Acosta was the only Renegade with multiple hits, going 2 for 4. Elias Otero and Steve Tinoco both had a double and accounted for driving home both runs. The Renegades were just 2 for 15 with runners in scoring position. Omar Bencomo was charged with the loss. The series continues on Saturday with Jake Thompson on the hill.

Johnson City Cardinals 2, Princeton Rays 0
Todd Glaesmann was 2 for 3 with a double. Cesar Guillen recorded the only other hit. The P-Rays had just 5 baserunners all game. Eliazer Suero took the loss.


Johnson City Cardinals 13, Princeton Rays 2
Jeff Malm was 3 for 3 with a double. Bryan Fogle had a solo home run. Geno Glynn drove home the other P-Ray run. The defense committed seven error on the night. Chris Rearick was hit for 10 run (6 earned) on 11 hits in just 3 innings, taking the loss. Andrew Bellatti will start Saturday's game against Johnson City.

GCL Orioles 6, GCL Rays 7
GCL Rays win third straight, take 2 game lead in division. Julian Morillo was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Joel Caminero was 2 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI's. Tanner Biagini drove home two runs and Juniel Querecuto added a run. Jose Molina earned the win and Ryan Fleckenstein the save. The GCL Rays travel to Sarasota to rematch the GCL Orioles on Saturday.

DSL Pirates 3, DSL Rays 8
Ismael Aguero was 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Adderly Rosa drove home two runs. Jiminson Natera and Federico Eder also had an RBI. Bruedlin Suero was the winning pitcher. The DSL Rays conclude the 2010 regular season on Saturday against the DSL Yankees.
