Tuesday's Scores and Highlights

Columbus Clippers 0, Durham Bulls 7
Desmond Jennings was 2 for 5. Elliot Johnson was 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored. Justin Ruggiano was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Dan Johnson was 2 for 3 with a run scored. Chris Richard was 2 for 3 with 2 runs. Jose Lobaton was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Alvin Colina drove home two runs. Winston Abreu pitched a no-hit ninth and has not allowed a run since May 18. Richard De Los Santos earned the win. The series with Columbus continues on Wednesday with Virgil Vasquez starting for Durham.

Montgomery Biscuits 3, Tennessee Smokies 4
Emeel Salem was 2 for 4. Henry Wrigley hit his sixth AA home run. Shawn O'Malley and Drew Anderson each drove home a run. Dane De La Rosa was charged with the loss. The Biscuits are off on Wednesday.

Daytona Cubs 6, Charlotte Stone Crabs 2
Stone Crabs on a season high six game losing streak. Greg Sexton and Anthony Scelfo drove home the Stone Crabs only runs of the night. Tim Beckham had 2 stolen bases. Isaias Velasquez was ejected from the game in the second inning. Joe Cruz suffered the loss, he had six great innings of shut-out baseball and collapsed in the seventh inning. The Stone Crabs wrap up the series against Daytona on Wednesday with Frank De Los Santos making the start.

Bowling Green Hot Rods (day off)
The Hot Rods begin a series against Quad Cities.



Hudson Valley Renegades 9, Staten Island Yankees 2
Nicholas Schwaner is 2 for 5 with a home run and 3 RBI's. Steven Tinoco was 2 for 5 with an RBI. Everyone in the lineup recorded a hit. Devin Fuller earned the win and Zach Rosscup the save. The Renegades will play two against Staten Island on Wednesday. Game one is the completion of a suspended game from 6/22, tied 2-2 in second. The regular scheduled game for Wednesday will follow and be seven innings.

Princeton Rays 8, Burlington Royals 2
Felix Gonzalez was 3 for 4 with a double, 2 RBI's and 3 runs scored. Kevin Kiermaier was 2 for 5 with double and an RBI. Brian Fogle was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Todd Glaesmann drove home two runs. Braulio Lara was the winning pitcher. The P-Rays play Burlington on Wednesday with pitcher of the week Eliazer Suero making the start.

GCL Red Sox 10, GCL Rays 7
Craige Lyerly was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored. Justin O'Conner was 2 for 4 with a home run and 4 RBI's. Joel Caminero and Julian Morillo each drove home a run. Offense struck out a combined 10 times and stranded 5 runners. Justin Hall suffered the loss. The GCL Rays head to Fort Myers to play the GCL Twins.

DSL Rays, DSL Royals (postponed)
The DSL Rays play at home against the DSL Dodgers on Wednesday.



VSL Mariners 5, VSL Rays 6
Nahum Hernandez was 4 for 4 with 2 runs scored. Omar Narvaez was 3 for 4 with an RBI and a run scored. Wilmer Dominguez was 3 for 4. J Jonathan Quinonez had a home run. Yerwin Sanchez got the win and Orlando Cabrera the save. The VSL Rays travel to play the VSL Tigers on Wednesday.
