Monday's Scores and Highlights

Columbus Clippers 8, Durham Bulls 3
Justin Ruggiano was 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 RBI's. Dioner Navarro was 2 for 4 with a home run. Dan Johnson was also 2 for 4. Jeremy Hellickson suffered the loss. Bulls pitchers have up a combined 12 walks on the night. The Bulls face Columbus on Tuesday with Richard De Los Santos making the start.

Montgomery Biscuits 2, Tennessee Smokies 4 (6 innings)
Completed early due to rain. Henry Wrigley was 2 for 2 with an RBI. Cody Cipriano was 2 for 3 with an RBI. Matt Sweeney was 0 for 2 with 2 strikeouts and is hitting just .196. Alex Cobb was charged with the loss. The Biscuits with David Newmann on the mound take on Tennessee on Tuesday.

Daytona Cubs 4, Charlotte Stone Crab 3 (19 innings)
Longest game in franchise history. Chris Murrill was 2 for 9. Tim Beckham was 2 for 6 with a double and a run scored. Greg Sexton was 2 for 7 with a double and an RBI. Reid Fronk was 2 for 5 with a double. Kyeong Kang was 2 for 7 with 2 RBI's. Rocco Baldelli made his debut, going 0 for 4 with 4 strikeouts. The Stone Crabs pitchers combined for 17 scoreless innings bookended by Nick Barnese's 3 run first and Matt Hall's lone run in the nineteenth. Hall was charged with the loss. The Stone Crabs take on Daytona again on Tuesday, Joe Cruz will make the start.

Bowling Green Hot Rods 7, Peoria Chiefs 5
Brett Nommensen was 3 for 4. Tomas Francisco was 2 for 3 with an RBI and 3 runs scored. Ty Morrison was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's and a run scored. Cody Rogers had a home run. Scott Shuman picked up the win. The Hot Rods are off on Tuesday.

Connecticut Tigers, Hudson Valley Renegades (postponed)
The Renegades hit the road to face Staten Island on Tuesday.



Burlington Royals 5, Princeton Rays 7
Kevin Kiermaier was 2 for 5 with an RBI. Scott Lawson was 2 for 3 with 2 runs scored. Cesar Guillen was 2 for 3 with a run scored. Alejandro Segovia and Jeff Malm each drove home a run. Andrew Belatti gave up 2 earned run while striking out 8 in 6 innings on the mound. Mickey Jannis got the win and Matt Gilson the save. The P-Rays put Braulio Lara on the mound on Tuesday against Burlington.

GCL Rays 9, GCL Red Sox 5
Juniel Querecuto was 3 for 5 with a double, 2 RBI's and a run scored. Alexander Diaz was 2 for 4 with a double and a triple. Edward Dorville and Joel Caminero also had a triple each making 3 total for the team. Brian Shouse continues his rehab schedule pitching another shut-out inning. Jose Molina earned the win and Shane Minks remains perfect, allowing no runs yet this year and picking up his fourth save. The GCL Rays are home on Tuesday against the GCL Red Sox.

DSL Red Sox 6, DSL Rays 7
Jesus Arazia was 3 for 4 with a double and 3 runs scored. Hector Rodriguez was 2 for 5 with a home run. Luis Marte was 2 for 5 with a home run and 4 RBI's. Julio Medina was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's. Jose Monegro was the winning pitcher. The DSL Rays play the DSL Royals on Tuesday.

VSL Rays 4, VSL Cardinals 2
Leopoldo Correa was 2 for 4 with a triple, 2 RBI's and a run scored. Omar Narvez was 2 for 3 with a double and a run scored. Roan Salas also had a double and an RBI. Franklin Alcala knocked home the other run. Luis Yendis was the winning pitcher and Guillermo Salinas got the save. The VSL Rays play at home against the VSL Mariners on Tuesday.
