  1. Any chance you could put together a quick midseason ranking?

  2. What are you thinking in terms of ranking?

Around the 70 game mark, I ran a series of posts regarding player performance during the season. Here are the posts:

Kevin also ran a mid-season prospect list, here is the link to that post:

Who do you think are up for mid-season promotions?

  4. Thanks Jim,

Quick few questions. Who has been the biggest surprise and who has been the biggest dissappointment? Also, which pitcher has had the most uptick in velocity?

    Thanks in advance.

  5. Unfortunately scouting reports and stuff on velocity aren't really readily available.

As for promotions, I'd say most of the Charlotte bullpen is most deserving. The Rays like to be cautious, but I could also see Nick Barnese getting some starts with Montgomery.

  6. I am gonna throw Bortnick into the mix for promotions. I can see him moving to Charlotte soon.

  7. I dont think they would promote Barnese, maybe a Cruz, but not Barnese or Moore, they seem to be taking it level by level, year by year.Speaking of in your guys opinions, has Barnese pasted Moore in prospect rankings?

  8. I think Barnese has the edge on Moore right now. Moore is still struggling to find consistancy. He is either really good or really bad. Once he gets it under control, I think his stock will rise quick. But right now the way they are playing, Barnese has the edge.
