5/19: The Rundown

Wade Davis keeps it going, the Biscuits double their pleasure, Charlotte gets rained out again, and the Hot Rods get to Noesi...

Notes: Durham improved to 23-15... Wade Davis turned in the third really good start from Durham pitchers, allowing just 2 hits and 1 walk in 6.2 innings. His walk was to the last batter he faced. He struck out 3... Durham's lone run came in the 5th inning on a Chris Nowak homerun... Reid Brignac was 0-2 but drew a walk... Matt Joyce was 0-3...

Rhyne Hughes and Cesar Suarez went long to help provide the offense... Anuery Rodriguez got the game 2 win, allowing 4 runs(3 earned) in 5 innings. He struck out 7 and walked 3... Montgomery Biscuits - Heath Rollins & Aneury Rodriguez: Neither was dominant in their start, but both gave solid performances and earned wins.

Bowling Green Hot Rods - C Jake Jefferies: Hit his team-leading fourth homerun of the season and drove in two runs.
