5/14: The Rundown

Durham Bulls 4, Louisville Bats 3

Notes: Durham improved to 19-14... Homer Bailey took a no-hitter into the 5th but allowed two-run homeruns to Jon Weber in the 6th and Chris Richard in the 7th... Wade Davis allowed 3 earned runs in 5.2 innings, striking out 4 and walking 3... Reid Brignac was 1-4 with a double... Matt Joyce was 1-3, he also doubled... John Jaso's slump continued, he was 0-2 with a walk and is hitting .212 in his last 10 games... Joe Dillon made his Durham debut; he went 0-2.

Montgomery Biscuits 4, Mobile BayBears 1

Notes: Montgomery improved to 16-17... Jarrod Parker started for Mobile, allowing 1 run in 5 innings. He struck out 9 Biscuits... Heath Rollins matched him, allowing 1 run in 6.1 innings, earning the win... Desmond Jennings was 1-3. He walked twice and stole his 10th base... Rhyne Hughes was 3-5 with his 11th homerun...

Charlotte Stone Crabs Postponed due to rain.

Bowling Green Hot Rods 6, Savannah Sand Gnats 2

Notes: Bowling Green improved to 17-16... Michael Jarman got the win, going 8 innings and allowing only two runs. He struck out 2 and didn't walk anyone... Tim Beckham's batting average fell under .300 as he went 0-4 with two strikeouts... Justin Reynolds went 3-3 with a double and 4 RBIs...

Durham Bulls - OF Jon Weber & 1B Chris Richard: Provided the Bulls offense, each hitting a 2-run homerun.

Montgomery Biscuits - 1B Rhyne Hughes: Went 3-5 and hit his 11th(!) homerun of the season.

Bowling Green Hot Rods - OF Justin Reynolds: Did a majority of the damage for the Hot Rods, driving in four on a 3-3 night.

Durham Bulls - C John Jaso: Whether it's the knee injury or something else, Jaso hasn't hit much lately.

Montgomery Biscuits - None.

Bowling Green Hot Rods - SS Tim Beckham: Took an 0-4, including two strikeouts.
