The Game: The Bowling Green Hot Rods lost to Lake County 1-0 in game one of a double header on Sunday at Bowling Green Ballpark. An error in the final frame broke the tie and led to defeat.The game remained tied until the final inning of the game when Lake County scored a run. Gregory Folgia double to right to get things started. Scott Shuman then threw away the pickoff attempt and the winning run scored.
Jason McEachern pitched 6 shut-out innings in the no decision, giving up 3 hits with 2 strikeouts and 2 walks. Scott Shuman suffered the loss, allowing an unearned run on 2 hits in an inning on the mound.
