Bowling Green Hot Rods Postponed By Tornado Watch

Bowling Green, KY – Due to a tornado watch issued by the National Weather Service until 10 PM tonight, Saturday’s between the Hot Rods and Lake County Captains has been postponed. The teams will now play a doubleheader to wrap up their three-game series on Sunday afternoon at 2:05 PM at Bowling Green Ballpark.

Sunday’s doubleheader will feature two seven-inning games and will be a single-admission event. Tickets for Sunday’s game are good for both games. Gates will open at 12:30 PM for season ticket holders and 1 PM for the general public. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Hot Rods Team Poster courtesy of Gerald Printing.

Autism Awareness Day, benefitting the Kelly Autism Program, has also been rescheduled for Sunday’s doubleheader. The pre-game ceremonies and check presentations will take place prior to the first game of the doubleheader.

Tickets for Saturday night’s postponed contest may be exchanged for a ticket to any future 2010 regular season game, excluding July 2-3, based upon availability. For questions, please call the Hot Rods Ticket Office at 270.901.2121.

  1. We missed most of the bad weather, just got some wind and heavy rain. Looking forward to a double dip today. Who knows, maybe we can stop the losing streak.
