The Biscuits Jake McGee was named the Southern League's Pitcher of the Week for the week ending May 30. McGee was 1-0 for the week throwing a seven inning shut-out in his only start of the week. That start came on Friday night against the Tennessee Smokies when McGee recording eleven strikeouts in the game, striking out all but one Smokie hitter during the course of the game. On the season, McGee is 1-4 with a 5.23 ERA in eight starts. This is McGee's first full season since returning from Tommy John surgery during the 2008 season.
