26th Rounder Justin Woodall Will Sign

Justin Woodall
So says this:
Woodall said a scout from the Rays was coming to visit him in Tuscaloosa this week and he said that it was looking like he would sign with the team and begin his journey through the minor leagues. He also said that the opportunity was more important than the money he would make to sign with the organization.

  1. The Montgomery Advertiser agrees, says he'll play for the GCL Rays this summer. Had this on his stuff:

The left-handed pitcher didn't start throwing again until three weeks ago. Woodall displayed a low-90s fastball, a curveball and a slider in pre- draft workouts for scouts.

  2. I like this kid. Maybe he'll pan out as a major league RP?
