Minor Moves: Rollins, Baker, Eldridge, Powell

The Tampa Bay Rays have made the following moves affecting the roster of Double-A Montgomery prior to their game tonight against Tennessee (Chicago Cubs):

RHP Brian Baker added from Hudson Valley (Short-A) roster, OF Rashad Eldridge returned from Durham (AAA), RHP Heath Rollins transferred to Hudson Valley (Short-A) roster, OF Pedro Powell transferred to Hudson Valley (Short-A) roster [24 + 1].

Baker is activated and will make his scheduled start for the Biscuits tonight against the Smokies. Eldridge returns to the Biscuits after spending 25 days with the Bulls after being promoted on May 31st. He batted .301 with three home runs and nine RBIs with Durham in 21 games.

The corresponding moves leave the Biscuits at the Southern League maximum of 24 active players. One player (Jason Perry) is currently on the Disabled List.
