6/23: The Rundown

Notes: Durham finally snapped their losing streak and improved to 39-32... Rehabbing Scott Kazmir got the win, allowing just a run in 6 innings of work. He struck out 6 and didn't walk a batter, throwing 55 of his 78 pitches for strikes... John Jaso hit his fourth HR of the season, a solo shot... Reid Brignac was 1-4... Matt Joyce's struggles continued, striking out twice as part of an 0-3 night... Jason Cromer and Dale Thayer combined to shut Pawtucket out over the last three innings...

Ryan Reid struck out all three hitters he faced in the 9th...

Charlotte Stone Crabs - SS Shawn O'Malley: Combined 2-6 with two walks and three runs scored.

Hudson Valley Renegades - RHP Alexander Colome: 5 innings, 3 hits, no runs, 1 walk, and 4 strikeouts.
