Up
Durham Bulls - 1B Rhyne Hughes: 3-5 with a homerun, easily his best game since being promoted to Durham.

Charlotte Stone Crabs - Pitching: Downs and Gorgen combined on the 5-hit shutout.

Bowling Green Hot Rods - Beckhams: Tim and Jeremy combined to go 4-8 with a double and a triple.

Down
Durham Bulls - Pitching: 16 runs. Bad.

Charlotte Stone Crabs - OF Reid Fronk: 0-3 with two strikeouts.

Bowling Green Hot Rods - RHP Nick Barnese: He was masterful in his first game of the season and not-so-good since, but my guess is the brass wants him to use his breaking stuff more and not just rely on the fastball, and is struggling with it a bit. Just a guess.
