22nd Rounder Jake Sullivan Signs

UALR junior Jake Sullivan has signed a professional contract with the Tampa Bay Rays and will be assigned to the Princeton Rays in Princeton, W.Va., an Advanced Rookie-level team in the Appalachian League. A 6-5 left-handed pitcher, Sullivan was selected in the 22nd Round of the 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft by Tampa Bay.
