  1. I find it interesting that the biscuits pitchers are actually younger then the stone crabs on average

  2. Sveet, I was wondering when someone would comment on that. Once Cromer pitchers for Montgomery, that will change. Maybe I should make it a weighted average based on number of starts? Or, maybe I'm making more of this than it's worth.

  3. Ya I wouldn't put too much work into it. I don't think it's a big deal. Just thought it was interesting.

I wonder if it's a difference of college arms being in hi A while guys straight out of hs happen to be in AA. Even though they have more pro experience they are still younger. I know Hellickson and I think Rollins are hs guys. Rodriguez was most likely signed out of latin america. I know Newmann went to Ta&m, but I'm not sure about any of the other guys in charlotte

  4. OT: Just wanted to let you know I really enjoy the site. I have made it part of my daily reading. I had been looking for something like this to help me keep up with our minor league teams and exactly how our prospects our faring. I used to check each affiliates sites every now and then, but that got to be too much everyday.

    Keep up the good work

  5. Also do you know what Will Kline's status is? I know he was out all last year with an arm injury, but I thought he would be back by now. Is he still recovering?

  7. Sveet - Glad you enjoy, that's exactly why I started it, there was nowhere to get everything in one place on our minor league affiliates. I got tired of going to so many different sites everyday and figured others were in the same boat. I could never do this by myself, but thanks to the help of Kevin and everyone else, now you find what you want at one place.

Kline is on the Rehab roster in extended spring training. I'm guessing he begins the year with Charlotte so they can keep an eye on him, and maybe moves up to Montgomery later.

  8. Any update as to how KYLE LOBSTEIN, last year's TB #2 draft pick, is doing at extended? Where do you think he'll go at the end of extended..if not before.
I, too, appreciate your frequent updates. I check out what you have to say every day...Thanks.

  9. Not sure how he's doing in XST, but at this point I see him going to Hudson Valley.

  10. I agree, Kevin. HDV seems like the best fit for him for his first pro season.

As for how he's doing at extended ... good question. The answer IS out there, somewhere....
