Rays Teaming Up For The Environment

Tampa Bay RaysFollowing up on a successful 2008 campaign, the Rays want to expand the Teaming Up for the Environment initiative by promoting six (6) organizations throughout the 2009 season that support the environment through educational programs. This program is open to organizations located within the 10-county region immediately surrounding the Tampa Bay area.

As a Teaming Up for the Environment partner, each organization will receive:
A $1,000 grant.

The community corner is a wonderful opportunity for the organization to raise awareness about its activities and also raise funds by raffling off a signature item provided by the Rays.

20 partnership date game-tickets.
The application process is simple. Just download the application, fill out organizational and contact information, note the mission statement of the organization, and provide a brief description as to how the organization positively impacts our environment through educational programs. Completed applications can be emailed to raysbaseballfoundation@raysbaseball.com.

All applications must be received by April 17th, 2009 at 4 PM. Partners will be announced on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2009. Recognition dates will begin in May and run through September. All grants will be disbursed in May 2009.
