Rays Spring Training Attendance

Rays Spring TrainingGoing into Sunday's game, the Rays have drawn 55,695 to Charlotte Sports Park through 9 games so far this spring, a 6,189 average (exhibition with Puerto Rico included). The 2009 total is already the 8th-highest spring total attendance figure in the club’s 12-year history.

With 7 games remaining, the Rays are on pace to shatter the club’s all-time mark of 79,044, set in 2007. The Rays are also averaging 7,340 away from Charlotte County, the 4th-highest average spring road attendance in the majors and 2nd in the Grapefruit League.
