Hot Rods Postponed Sunday

[Game Recap provided by Hot Rods Director of Broadcast/Media Relations Tom Gauthier]

Bowling Green, KY – Rain washed out Sunday’s series finale with the Lansing Lugnuts at Bowling Green ballpark. As a result, the Lugnuts win the series, 3-0, heading into an off-day on Monday.

Tickets for Sunday’s game can be exchanged at the Hot Rods Ticket Office at any time. They may be exchanged for any future 2010 regular season home game based upon availability and excluding July 2, July 3, and all MLB Rehab Appearances.
The Hot Rods will have Monday off before beginning an eight-game, seven-day road trip on Tuesday night in Midland, MI. First pitch with the Great Lakes Loons is at 6:05 PM CDT. RHP Alexander Colome (2-2, 2.27) will take the ball in game one against Loons RHP Josh Wall (0-1, 5.03). You can follow the game with Tom Gauthier beginning at 5:50 PM CDT on 1340 AM WBGN and www.bghotrods.com.

The Hot Rods return home to begin a 13-game home stand on Tuesday, May 25, against the South Bend Silver Hawks (Arizona Diamondbacks). The first game of the home stand is one of six games that will benefit Warren County Parks and Recreation. Any fan that purchases a $10 regularly-priced box seat ticket for that night’s game using the promotional code “WCPARKS” (use all caps) will help recover Warren County parks damaged by recent flooding. Fans can use the code at the ticket window, by calling 270.901.2121, or at bghotrods.com. The Hot Rods will donate a portion of tickets sales from those six games to Warren County Parks and Recreation.
