5/25: The Rundown

Durham Bulls 1, Pawtucket Red Sox 0
Box | Recap
Notes: Durham improved to 25-20... Jeremy Hellickson carried a perfect game into the 7th and a no-hitter into the 8th. He finished with 8 shutout innings, allowing only a hit and a walk. He struck out 5... Winston Abreu closed out the 9th inning for the save... Durham's only run came on a Ryan Shealy solo home run in the 2nd inning...
The Leftovers:

Montgomery Biscuits rained out
Box | Recap
Notes: Montgomery and West Tennessee will not make the game up...
The Leftovers:

Palm Beach Cardinals 4, Charlotte Stone Crabs 3
Box | Recap
Notes: Charlotte improved to 21-19... Nick Barnese struck out 6 and walked 1 in 6 innings, but took the loss, allowing 4 runs (3 earned)... Michael Jarman and Zach Quate combined for three scoreless innings out of the bullpen... Tim Beckham was 2-4 with a double and a walk, making it 13 hits in last 6 games... Matt Joyce drew 3 walks...
The Leftovers:

Bowling Green Hot Rods 5, Dayton Dragons 0
Box | Recap
Notes: Bowling Green has won 5 straight to improve to 17-27... Aaron Dott, Alex Koronis, and Deivis Mavarez combined to keep the Dragons off the board. Dott went 5 innings, allowed 2 hits, struck out 6, and didn't walk a batter... Chris Murrill, Tyler Bortnick, and Brett Nommensen each had 2 hits. Murrill doubled twice while Nommensen also had an extra-base hit...
The Leftovers: I thought maybe the 4-4 game would get Ty Morrison going, but he's just 1-11 since then...
