  1. Rumor has it some of HV's guys are going to BG when the season is over. Any speculation on who they might send? My guess would be a few pitchers. Markel and Linksy. What do u think? Any position players?

  3. Woodall and rice are good ones. I would think Lyerly has a shot. Leds team in batting and stolen bases.

  4. i really don't know if they will bring up anyone besides pitchers. Although, BG has 2 outfielders really struggling. So if they were to bring someone up I would think lyerly would be a good choice with speed and a good batting average. He has been producing with runners in scoring position. His average with runners in scoring position is .318. But I don't really know much I am just looking at average and stolen bases. He does only have 3 homeruns and only 4 more extra base hits so not a lot of power just speed. I don't know what more has to be looked at besides average and stuff I KNOW theres a lot more to it that I don't see.

  5. Going to BG for the playoffs? Seems odd. Round 1 is best of 3. If they win, round 2 is best of 3. If they win the championship is best of 5.

Might only play in 2 games is why I say odd. Hope they win it all of course, but can't see sending too many guys for what could be little or no game action.

  6. yea i agree that is why i don't think positions players will be called up. but my source is a pretty reliable one :)

  7. Ok. An extra bullpen arm or two might be useful. Maybe a leftie like Dickmann and/or Woodall to go with Patterson, with Rearick still used in save situations.

  9. GCL Rays game was in the stadium (night game) and was the best attended GCL game I have been to. Playing under the lights probably was a big part of the loss, ball was dropped on the warning track with two outs making all the runs unearned and leading directly to two of them. Butler looked great, John Alexander's HR was a shot, and he added another HR into the wind today in Pt Charlotte. Nice to see a real 1B and a little power here!
