Scores and Highlights from 7/31

Durham Bulls 3, Charlotte Knights 2
Russ Canzler was 2 for 4 with a double and a triple. Ray Olmedo was 2 for 3 with a triple and an RBI. Leslie Anderson was 2 for 4. Stephen Vogt and Reid Brignac had a double each. Cesar Ramos picked up the win.



Jacksonville Suns 3, Montgomery Biscuits 2 (10 innings)
Shawn O'Malley was 3 for 4. Henry Wrigley was 2 for 5 with a double and and RBI. Brett Nommensen was 2 for 4. Matt Bush pitched 2 shut-out innings with 4 strikeouts.



Charlotte Stone Crabs 7, Tampa Yankees 0
Ty Morrison was 3 for 5 with a triple and an RBI. Mike Sheridan was 3 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI's. Tyler Bortnick was 2 for 3 with a triple and an RBI. Mark Thomas was 2 for 4. Jake Thompson pitched 8 shut-out innings with 7 strikeouts for the win. Scott Shuman had a scoreless ninth.



Bowling Green Hot Rods 3, Dayton Dragons 1
Steven Tinoco was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Julio Cedeno had a solo home run. Robby Price had a double and an RBI. Phil Wunderlich had a double. Wilking Rodriguez pitched 4 shut-out innings. Jimmy Patterson also had 4 shut-out innings for the win. Nate Garcia picked up the save.



Williamsport Crosscutters 3, Hudson Valley Renegades 2
Craige Lyerly had a two run homer. Brooks Belter pitched 3 scoreless innings with 4 strikeouts.



Princeton Rays 6, Greeneville Astros 1
Drew Vettleson was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI's. Jake DePew was 2 for 5 with a double and 2 RBI's. Joel Caminero was 2 for 5 with an RBI. Deshun Dixon had a solo home run. Jeff Ames pitched 5 scoreless innings for the win.



DSL Yankees 4, DSL Rays 1
Yoel Araujo had a double and a run scored. Roberto Adolfo had the only other Rays hit.
