  1. I have a question now that we have seen some of the stats from this year and the season is almost over who would you pick now in this group as a "top prospect"? Who has been a surprise in this 2010 group?

  2. The top 3 are still 'top prospects' as far as hitters for the Rays. A couple hundred at-bats at Princeton does really change anything. The order might change, I had Vettleson a spot ahead of Sale, Kevin and BurGi had Sale ahead. They should be neck and neck at least after the season. But again, it's only 200 Appy at-bats. Looks like the Rays were right about starting them in Princeton, too.

Dietrich has probably helped himself the most, but the strikeouts worry me. Even with the Ks he's moved up some because of everything else he's done. Brett could have moved up a bit too, but he's really cooled off. Still see him in the 25-30 range.

The biggest question is where all of the 2011 picks slot in. If all of the 1st and 1sup picks sign that's 10 players right there. If we add all 10 to our top 30 lists (not saying we would, but several will make it) then 10 guys get pushed off the bottom. We'll have our post-season lists up in September, but you can see our pre-draft lists by clicking on "Top Prospects" at the top. There will be huge changes from the old list to the next one, huge.

  3. Are you surprised with anyone on that list or are they all about where you expected them to be? Just questions not being picking just interested in yall's opinions.
