Renegades Week in Review: 8/4 to 8/10

Hudson Valley RenegadesThe Hudson Valley Renegades had a rough week by going 1-5 on the week and dropped to one game below .500 at 25-26 on the year. The Renegades are in third place of the New York-Penn League McNamara division, seven games back from the leader.

  1. STEALING BASES: We've run ourselves out of so many games this year that it is becoming a joke amongst fans. Less stealing, please.

  2. On the week in review I try to focus on the positive aspects of the game. In response to the stolen bases...in addition of leading the league in steals, the Renegades also lead the league in caught stealing. As of 8/13, the Renegades stole 94 and and were caught stealing 39 times..which is roughly a 72% success rate. So with that in mind, is it really worth it?
