The Bowling Green Hot Rods have placed RHP Tyree Hayes on the 7-day disabled list, retroactive to August 9, 2009. The 21 year-old (just turned 21 August 8th) has a 6-4 record with a 5.48 ERA in 30 appearances (2 starts) this season for the Hot Rods. In 65.2 innings he has struck out 59 and walked 28 while allowing opposing batters a .295 average. Hayes was the Rays' eighth-round pick in the 2006 draft.The Charlotte Stone Crabs activated 1B Henry Wrigley from the 7-day disabled list.
