The Rays have assigned their 3rd round pick in the 2009 draft, outfielder Todd Glaesmann, to the Gulf Coast League Rays. The 18 year-old went 0-2 today in his professional debut. (Ground out to 2B, fly out to CF, left in the bottom of the 6th for RF defensive replacement Lucas Nakandakare.) The GCL Rays lost 2-0 to the GCL Red Sox.
