The Durham Bulls have placed catcher Craig Albernaz on the 7-day disabled list.
Outfielder Fernando Perez has been assigned to the Durham Bulls on a major league rehab assignment. He's still on the Rays 60-day DL so he will have to be added to the 40-man roster when the rehab assignment ends.
The DSL Rays have released RHP Noel De Leon. The 6'5" 21 year-old was 0-4 with a 2.95 ERA in 19 appearances (no starts) this season for the Rays. In 39.2 innings he gave up 41 hits, 2 homers, 11 walks, and struck out 27.
UPDATE: Milb has removed the listing for Albernaz going on the DL. Return Albernaz to 'active' for the Bulls. Not sure why the mistake, they may have meant to list Elliot Johnson, who is now on the Bulls' 7-day DL (see post above).
