Wednesday's Scores and Highlights

Charlotte Knights 3, Durham Bulls 4
Four run rally in eighth inning led Bulls to victory. Elliot Johnson was 2 for 4 with a double and a run scored. Angel Chavez was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Chris Richard, Leslie Anderson and Joe Dillon also drove home runs. Dale Thayer earned the win and Joe Bateman the save. The Bulls begin a series at home against Gwinnett on Thursday, Anuery Rodriguez will start the opener.

Huntsville Stars 10, Montgomery Biscuits 4
Rashad Eldridge was 3 for 5 with 2 doubles, 2 RBI's and a run scored. Jose Ruiz and Shawn O'Malley also drove home a run each. Ryan Reid pitched 2 shut-out innings, only pitcher on the night not to surrender a run. The Biscuits were 2 for 14 with runners in scoring position. Josh Satow suffered the loss. The Biscuits host Huntsville again on Thursday, Paul Phillips will start the final home game of the season.

Charlotte Stone Crabs 6, Jupiter Hammerheads 0
Reid Fronk was 4 for 5 with an RBI. Stephen Vogt was 2 for 5 with 2 doubles and a run scored. Tim Beckham was 2 for 4 with an RBI. Greg Sexton was 2 for 5 with a run scored. Jake Jefferies drove home 2 runs while Tyler Bortnick picked up an RBI. Joe Cruz pitched 6 shut-out innings with 10 strikeouts to record his league leading 13th win. Michael Jarman threw 3 no-hit innings of relief to notch the save. The Stone Crabs conclude the series against Jupiter on Thursday, Frank De Los Santos will start the finale.

Bowling Green Hot Rods 5, Dayton Dragons 3
Mark Thomas was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI's. Dustin Biell was 2 for 3 with a home run. Ryan Wiegand also drove home a run. CJ Riefenhauser made his Hot Rods debut, pitching 4 shut-out innings and only allowing 1 run. Shane Minks was the winning pitcher and Alex Koronis got the save. The Hot Rods face Dayton again on Thursday.

Hudson Valley Renegades 0, Staten Island Yankees 1
Brian Bryles and Cesar Guillen delivered a double each on the night. Scott Lawson and Steve Tinoco had the only other hits on the night. James Patterson took the loss. The Renegades host Staten Island for a twin bill on Thursday.

GCL Phillies 6, GCL Rays 3
Championship Series tied at 1-1. Craige Lyerly was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored. Ryan Brett was 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Alex Diaz also drove home a run. Peter Woodworth pitched 2 1/3 shut-out innings of relief with 3 strikeouts. Daniel Johnson suffered the loss. The GCL Rays travel to Clearwater on Thursday for the final game in the series.
