Sunday's Scores and Highlights

Norfolk Tides 5, Durham Bulls 6
Elliot Johnson was 3 for 4 with a triple, home run and 3 RBI's. Chris Richard also had a home run. Joe Dillon picked up an RBI. Bullpen provided 5 shut-out innings. Jake McGee pitched 1 2/3 innings of no-hit relief with 3 strikeouts. Joe Bateman improved to 7-0 with the win. The Bulls conclude the regular season on Monday with Bobby Livingston starting.

Montgomery Biscuits 1, Jacksonville Suns 0 (10 innings)
Alex Cobb pitched 6 shut-out innings with 10 strikeouts. Matt Spring hit the game winning home run. Ryan Reid earned the win and Matt Gorgen picked up the save. David Newmann will come of the DL and pitch the season finale against Jacksonville on Monday.

Bradenton Marauders 1, Charlotte Stone Crabs 4
Stone Crabs win league high 80th game. Isaias Velasquez was 3 for 4 with 2 RBI's and a stolen base. Stephen Vogt was 2 for 3. Ryan Royster drove home a run. Jake Thompson won his second FSL game in as many starts, pitching 6 shut-out innings. Zach Quate earned the save. The Stone Crabs are off on Monday before beginning the playoffs on Tuesday.

Bowling Green Hot Rods 2, Great Lakes Loons 5
The Hot Rods had 5 hits from 5 different players. David Wendt and Kyle Spraker drove home the two Hot Rods runs. Yorman Mayora suffered the loss. The Hot Rods conclude the 2010 season on Monday against Great Lakes, CJ Riefenhauser will start.

Lowell Spinners 1, Hudson Valley Renegades 5
Mayo Acosta was 4 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI's. Brian Bryles also drove home two runs. Diogenes Luis picked up an RBI. Wilmer Almonte struck out 10 in 6 innings to get the win. Steve Hiscock earned the save, allowing no runs and striking out 5 in 3 innings. The Renegades have concluded the 2010 season.
