2010 Year in Review: Princeton Rays (Overall)

Over the next few weeks I will recap the 2010 season of each affiliate. This week will focus on the overall season, next week will cover the hitting leaders and the final week will be pitching leaders. Like the week in reviews earlier in the season, each day will bring attention to a different affiliate as we work our way through the franchise. Today we take a look at the overall team stats of the Princeton Rays.

The Princeton Rays ended the season in fourth place of the Appalachian League East Division with a 33-35 record. The P-Rays repeated as the Mercer Cup Champion for 2010, this was the sixth Mercer Cup for the Rays in the last eight years.

  2. Surprised to see Bellatti on the list at #19. Apparently the writer is not aware of his off the field issues. BTW, his trial is December 6th in San Diego. I'll update as I learn more. If you are unaware, he's facing up to 7 1/2 years for vehicular manslaughter and other charges.
