In addition to the Arizona Fall League, there are several other leagues beginning action in the next few weeks:
Arizona Fall League
Format: Six teams in two divisions. Seven players from the Rays organization are expected to participate. Opening Day is October 7th, with the AFL Rising Stars Game on October 27th, and the AFL Championship Game on November 22nd.
Hawaii Winter Baseball
Format: Four teams in two divisions. There are no players from the Rays organization in the HWB. Opening Day was September 27th and the HWB Championship Game is November 16th.
Mexican Pacific League
Format: Eight teams in one division. Rosters are not yet available. Opening Day is October 11th and the second half begins November 21st.
Dominican Winter League
Format: Six teams in one division. Rosters are not yet available. Opening Day is October 15th and the DWL All Star Game is December 7th.
Venezuelan Winter League
Format: Six teams in one division. Rosters are not yet available. Opening Day is October 14th.
Puerto Rican League
Format: Six teams in one division. Rosters are not yet available. Opening Day is November 6th and the postseason begins January 7th.
