Scores and Highlights from 4/30

Durham Bulls 1, Indianapolis Indians 0
The Bulls ended their 13 game losing streak by defeating the Indians 1-0. Matt Torra hurled a gem, throwing seven no-hit innings before allowing a lone hit in the eighth inning. Jesus Feliciano drove home the winning run with an RBI double in the bottom of the eighth to score Shawn O'Malley, giving the Bulls the win. Torra was the winner with Cesar Ramos coming on in the ninth to get the save.


Palm Beach Cardinals 7, Charlotte Stone Crabs 4 The Stone Crabs were unable to avoid the sweep as they fell 7-4 to the Cardinals in the series finale. The Stone Crabs found themselves in a hole early by allowing four runs in the second inning, a deficit they would not recover from. Riccio Torrez and Steven Tinoco were both 2 for 4 on the night. Ty Morrison had the only extra base hit, a double. Albert Suarez suffered the loss for the Stone Crabs.


Wisconsin Timber Rattlers 7, Bowling Green Hot Rods 2
The Hot Rods dropped Monday's matinee against the Timber Rattlers 7-2 resulting in the first series loss against Wisconsin franchise history. The Hot Rods held a slim one run lead going into the seventh inning where they surrendered five runs. The Hot Rods offense managed just four hits in the game. Todd Glaesmann delivered a triple, his second of the season. Andrew Bellatti was charged with the loss.

  1. Does anyone have a schedule of the Rays Ext. Sprg. games? There is a sche. avail. of the Orioles easily findable via google with all games open to the public. Rays are sched. to visit Sar. this Sat. for a 10a gm.Gates open at 930a. Hope to go, should be interesting
