Alex Cobb was called up to the Tampa Bay Rays to start Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Cobb is 3-0 with a 2.05 ERA and 29 strikeouts through 4 starts this season.
To make room for Cobb on the Rays roster, Jake McGee was optioned to Durham.
Nice to see Alex getting a start, sad to seee jake have to go down, Why the need for a spot start?
