Luke Bailey was 3 for 4 with 2 double and 2 RBI's. Phil Wunderlich was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI's setting a Hot Rods April record for RBI's with 18 on the month. Cody Rogers was 2 for 5. CJ Riefenhauser struck out 11 in 6 inning for the win.
C.J. Riefenhauser has become the ace of the Hot Rods staff. His last two starts, both wins, were a total of 12.3 innings pitched, giving up only 1 run on 5 hits. He does not have the velocity of Romero or Lara but he locates his pitches, throws strikes and keeps the hitters off balance.
ReplyDeleteI am starting to become a big C.J. Riefenhauser fan. He is a lefty, and he may still have some more as he gets older.
