Thusday Winter League Update

Arizona Fall League
Leslie Anderson was 1 for 3 with a run scored.
Sergio Espinosa pitched 2 shut-out innings with 2 strikeouts.
Jose Ruiz was 1 for 4 with a walk.
Henry Wrigley was 1 for 4 with a walk and a run scored.



Venezuelen Winter League
Yorman Mayora pitched a no-hit inning with 1 strike-out.
Dale Thayer pitched 2/3 of an inning and allowed a run on 3 hits with a strikeout.

    The Liga Paralela started Thursday (Tampa Bay lost 11-6 to the Phillies) in Venezuela. It is a winter league for younger, lower level players. The Tampa Bay team player stats are here. Some of the hitters you may have heard of include Jhonatan Quinonez, Roan Salas!, and Cesar Perez.

    Doesn't look like the league in Columbia where Bortnick and Vogt are playing has started yet.

    FYI, Yorman Mayora was released on 10/18.
