The Durham Bulls have released RHP Dewon Day. The 28 year-old reliever appeared in 22 games for the Bulls going 3-1 with a 4.76 ERA. In 28.1 innings he struck out 21 and walked 15 while allowing opposing batters a .304 average. He was originally drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 26th round of the 2002 draft. The DSL Rays have signed IF Jorge Inirio. All I can find is that he's 22, a switch-hitter, 6'0", 180 pounds and was born in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
