  2. Paxton is doing real well, but does not have the plate appearances to make the leaderboard in the FSL right now. Same situation with the pitching, Matt Gorgen's 0.68 ERA is top of the league but because of the innings pitched requirements of the leaderboard, Downs leads in the ERA category.

If you go off straight up batting average, Jason Bartlett leads the team in batting average with an average of .455 and Christian Lopez leads active players with .359.

On the pitching side, the Stone Crabs have 4 pitchers with an ERA of 0.00 (Chad Bradford, Scott Kazmir, Joey Callender and Deivis Maveras) and Matt Gorgen is the active player with the lowest ERA.

Hope that helps you understand where I came from with the leaders.

  3. I didn't count players such as Bartlett, Upton and Thomas as batting leaders because they no longer play for Charlotte. (I've often wished they'd put astericks next to non-current players-both hitting and pitching)That's why I was listing Paxton at the top- batting.359. I'm confused about Christian Lopez, though, leading active players with .359? I thought he was batting much lower than that. Love to see Matt Gorgen get on the leaderboard, too, but now I understand the reasons behind it. Anyway, Jim, thanks for taking the time to explain things to me.

  4. Your welcome. You are correct, it is Paxton and not Lopez. I was working on labeling pictures and was just working on a few of Lopez from a while back just before I replied back to you.
