Scores and Highlights from 7/12

Princeton Rays 4, Burlington Royals 1
Cameron Seitzer was 2 for 4 with a two run homer. Taylor Motter was 2 for 4. Matt Spann picked up the win. Marcus Jensen pitched 2 2/3 no hit innings for the save.

GCL Rays 2, GCL Orioles 1 (Game One)
James Harris and Granden Goetzmann each had an RBI. Bruedlin Suero picked up the win. Trevor Shull pitched a no-hit inning.

GCL Rays 4, GCL Orioles (Game Two)
Ariel Soriano was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles. Ismel Antunez had a double and an RBI. Matt Johnson and Brandon Choate each picked up an RBI. Roberto Gomez struck out 7 in 5 innings for the win. Issac Gil and Theron Geith chipped in to help keep the O's off the board.

VSL Rays 12, VSL Reds 3
Franklin Paz was 4 for 6 with a double, home run and 4 RBI's. Wilmer Dominguez was 3 for 5 with an RBI. Leopoldo Correa was 2 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI's. Franklin Alcala was 2 for 5 with 2 RBI's. Erick Vasquez was 2 for 5. Luis Guzman pitcked up the win. Freddy Alvarez pitched 4 shut-out innings with 5 strikeouts.


  1. any updates on more draft picks being signed? i'm kinda curious about mahtook and garvin. figured they would be under contract by now. or do they use this time as a break from the game?
