
Both clubs dueled in a scoreless tie until the sixth inning when the Stone Crabs struck for a run. Drew Anderson tripled to right field to lead off the inning. Shawn Williams followed with an RBIS single to right that scored Anderson and gave the Stone Crabs a 1-0 lead.
Jupiter matched runs in the home half of the sixth inning. Ryan Curry tripled to center and then scored on a sac fly by Greg Burns to tie the game.
The Stone Crabs regained the lead in the top of th seventh inning. Reid Fronk got things going with a line drive single to left field. Matt Hall followed with a single. Then John Matulia delivered a two run triple to center that put the Stone Crabs ahead to stay 3-1.
Jeremy Hall pitched was one out away from pitching a complete game, pitching 8 2/3 innings allowing 1 runs on 2 hits with 8 strikeouts enroute to his 14th win of the season. Richard De Los Santos pitched 1/3 of an innings and recorded the save. Brett Harker was the losing pitcher for Jupiter.
What Went Right: Jeremy Hall; threw a perfect game into the sixth inning and picked up his league leading 14th win.
What Went Wrong: Stranding runners; Stone Crabs were 2 for 11 with runners in scoring position and stranded 7 runners.
A Look Ahead: The Stone Crabs conclude the series with the Hammerheads on Thursday night at Roger Dean Stadium. Alex Cobb (8-5) will be making the start for the Stone Crabs.
