Hot Rods Week in Review: 8/26 to 9/1

Bowling Green Hot RodsThe Bowling Green Hot Rods were 2 -5 on the week and are now 29-33 on the second half. The Hot Rods are out of playoff contention, currently in fifth place in the division 9 1/2 games back with only six games remaining on the schedule. This week saw the Hot Rods play the longest game in team history, a 16 inning game against the Asheville Tourists on Sunday August 30. Tim Beckham was named to the 2009 South Atlantic League All-Star team.
