Winter League Stats Update (through 1/15)

The Caribbean League playoffs are in full swing. Here are how the teams featuring active Tampa Bay players are doing in the playoffs:

Caracas (VWL); second place with an 8-6 record in the round robin playoffs.
Mazatlan (LMP); advanced to semi-finals and hold a 2-1 lead in the series.
Caguas (PWL) & Mayaguez (PWL); begin playoff action tonight.

  1. Thanks for the update Jim, esp on the playoffs. Hope everyone down there is safe. Between the Haiti eq and the one in Venezuela, lots of guys to worry about.

    The VZ quake was centered about 200 miles east of the Rays VSL hq, so depending on where the players are living, and in light of the size of it, all should be ok.

    The DR worries me. The Haitians have to go somewhere it seems. If they end up in the DR it could seriously affect the east side of the island - DR.

    Thoughts and prayers to all down there.
