  1. They don't have the recent boxscores for the Columbian League up yet, but I found an article about a recent game, on the 17th. Vogt hit a HR to win it 1-0, his 6th on the season. Since I can't read spanish, I ran it through Google Translate, here is what came out:

    Review: VOGT, HERO AND FIGURE

Tt was the bottom of the fourth inning, the tension enveloped the premises, 1-0, losing to the capital city, in front of a controlled pitcher like Juan De Los Santos was fully neutralized offensive attempts cats.

At bat, the heroic hope, bet on his left, watching the horizon for his faraway look will indicate the destination of that line launched by opener visitor. The swing of American silent wind tore Cartagena de Indias, and the defender left field that was cradled homer, solo homer that would open the heroic victory, the sixth of the gringo, the usual, the hero figure, Steven Vogt. ¨

He was born on November 1, 1984, 26 years ago, in Visalia, located in the heart of the state of California. He arrived in Colombia with the sign of Champions League Batting Class A with a .345 average in 106 games Avg., playing catcher and first baseman, with the ninth Charlotte Crabs, and it was awarded the distinction Erik Walker, best player in the league. "Stephen is a true professional in every sense of the word" said Joe Hart, manager of Charlotte Crabs.

In the current League season 2010/2011, Stephen Vogt recorded a batting average of .462 average, connecting 26 hits, 6 homers, 19 RBIs, a superlative performance that characterized baseball figures that the monument has become the Californian for guiding the cast as July Vineyards and place him as the leader of hitting homeruns and Colombian Winter League.

° was a good start for me this season, we have high aspirations this year, personally and collectively and we work Stating Vogt, who will be the primary card in the deck offensive to confront the leader Cartagena Cayman this weekend week.

    THE 6 homers VOGT:

    - 28/octubre: 3HR (6RBI) Tigers-Une 9 x Toros 2 (Miguel Chavez, Cali)
    - 9/Noviembre: 2HR (4RBI) Tigers Lions-Une 5 x 11 (June 18, Monteria)
    - 17/Noviembre: 1HR (1RBI): Tigers-Eagles Une 3 x 1 (11 November, Cartagena)

Maybe I'm just silly, but this may be the best game recap I've ever read. They never had a chance against the gringo, the usual, the hero figure, Steven Vogt with his American silent wind.
