Sources say that the surgery is not major. Grant-Parks shoulder is strong with no pain and after having it done, he should be as good as his junior year in high school, if not better. The rehab after the surgery is about three month, then two to three months of rehab conditioning, he should be ready for his long over due plate debut. His shoulder has been over worked, from all the camps, try-outs, tournaments, the Area Code Games, and being asked to pitch, for the Oakland A's doing the Area Code games. He is rehabing and his shoulder is getting stronger. He tore i...Blake Parks has a torn shoulder muscle. He tore it when one of the area code scouts put him on the mound even though he had never pitched before. He was injured at that event and to this day needs surgery but has not had it.
