That's how the Rays handled McGee's situation last year, because with the GCL, you can afford to have him only pitch to a couple batters to start the game and then move to Nick Hansonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15304761041331440404noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7235991369814171983.post-59317558534033389422009-10-28T18:41:23.344-04:002009-10-28T18:41:23.344-04:00The Rays were agressive with Aneury last season, l...The Rays were agressive with Aneury last season, letting him start at AA at 21. Given his ERA (4.50) and FIP (4.69), along with a hard to repeat BABIP (.261), I think he'll start 2010 at Montgomery, with a possible mid-season promotion to Durham. As Gary said above though, it also depends a great deal on need, trades/aquisitions may force him up or down to start the year.

Agree Doughttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08409653861481579576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7235991369814171983.post-88431350977999896022009-10-28T18:05:54.704-04:002009-10-28T18:05:54.704-04:00I would guess Glaesmann et al would follow the Kyl...I would guess Glaesmann et al would follow the Kyle Lobstein path and head to Hudson Valley next year.Riven Ghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12368603245432835073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7235991369814171983.post-78783034338165507592009-10-28T17:40:11.463-04:002009-10-28T17:40:11.463-04:00Rodriguez did put up good second half numbers in M...Rodriguez did put up good second half numbers in Montgomery, And, depending on off season trades/acquisitions, there's two potential slots to be contended for.
